New York –
A new safety initiative entering the crowdfunding space this April aims to tackle one of the most persistent challenges in transportation safety: wildlife-vehicle collisions.
Developed by DWONKA™ Enterprises LLC, Roadway Lifeguardian™ is a patent-protected roadway safety system designed to intervene before animal-vehicle impacts occur. The Kickstarter campaign goes live April 2, 2026.
Wildlife collisions cost the United States more than $8 billion each year, according to insurance and transportation estimates, while also impacting biodiversity and migration patterns.
Founder Duntic M. Munford describes the system as a paradigm shift.
“Most existing infrastructure reacts after a crash. We’re working to shift that timeline — intervening before the moment of impact,” Munford said.

Traditional solutions such as signage and fencing have offered incremental improvements but have not fundamentally reduced nationwide incident frequency. Roadway Lifeguardian™ is being introduced as a holistic prevention framework rather than a single-device solution.
The Kickstarter campaign offers early backers recognition tiers, community certification, VIP access sessions, and long-term partnership opportunities.
By entering crowdfunding, DWONKA™ seeks both capital support and public validation for what it describes as a next-generation safety model — one designed to align transportation systems with wildlife preservation goals.
As infrastructure modernization gains global attention, preventative safety technologies are increasingly being viewed as essential rather than optional.
Launch Date: April 2, 2026
